Ground Up is an app designed to help justice impacted adults get the support they need to effectively reintegrate back into society after serving a sentence. The main feature on the app is creating connections through mentorship program that allows individuals to bond on a deeper level with others who have been in their shoes and who are now living success stories.

During the research phase of this project, mind mapping helped understand that Ground Up users prefer simplicity and efficiency over extravagant or loud design. The color palette conveys tranquility, trustworthiness, and optimism without being overpowering, the UX/UI design is simple but intentional and thoughtful.
